The STEC Xs is a next-generation, palm-sized Laser RTK rover, designed for surveyors and engineers who need to shoot points rapidly and accurately, without cumbersome equipment in the field.

Weighing in at just 380g, with an industrial anti-slip design and three distinct measurement modes in a single device, the Xs is a highly practical solution for surveys where speed, versatility, and portability are paramount.

One Receiver - Three Solutions

The STEC Xs can be utilized in more ways than you might imagine!

• As a standard Rover receiver (Regular Mode) with IMU and LASER, allowing you to receive network corrections via NTRIP, as well as via UHF radio.
• As a LASER RTK in Handheld Mode, utilizing the dedicated survey button located on the receiver. Speed and ease of use with every step.
• As a “One-Pole RTK” integrated with a robotic total station system (specifically the STEC AXIS SP), updating the station with your position while simultaneously collecting topo data in areas where the total station lacks line of sight.

Quick-Measure Trigger - Right on the Receiver..

The quick-measure button is exactly where you'd expect it – at your index finger, allowing you to shoot distances or record points in real-time without even touching your data collector's screen or keypad. Set the controller aside and start surveying freely – just like holding a high-end laser distance meter! In the field, this translates to less downtime and a more natural, intuitive workflow. No more bad shots, no more fumbling for the right button on the data collector!

LASER and Camera-Assisted Targeting

The Class 3 green LASER offers excellent visibility even in bright sunlight, featuring a distance measurement accuracy of 2mm. In Rapid mode, it reaches up to 15Hz, enabling significantly faster targeting and measurement compared to standard 2Hz operation. This ensures ultra-fast shots with no sighting errors.

Prefer using your data collector? The built-in camera with a 69° FOV and Full HD resolution allows you to visually aim at your target, mitigating sighting errors caused by misidentifying the LASER dot on the subject.
